Since 2003 the network „Zuckerwerk e.V.“ is organizing parties in Bremen. They ran also a club named “Zucker” for five years. After the closing they used various rooms for electronic music, video art, lighting design, painting, illustration and photography. The “Zuckerwerk e.V” is a nonprofit organization, which rejects any form of racism, sexism, homophobia or any form of discrimination.
In january 2020, the sugar collective started a project named “para”, a building with studios and a new club in a former underground car park.
